Forex Signals and Alerts

By Volodq Christoff

There are very few forex trading signals providers that are genuinely consistently profitable month after month. There are many that claim to be and have impressive looking performance records but very often it transpires that they massage their numbers, and use hypothetical figures in their calculations, rather than trade their signals themselves.

I've come across many different forex signals providers in my time. It's hard not to as the internet's full of them. Nearly all of them have turned out to be a waste of time. I thought I'd found a great site a while back in the shape of Forex Live Pro, but after having several highly profitable months, even they ended up going on a losing streak and have since closed down.

That's why there's only one company that I'm more than happy to recommend and that's ForexManuals.com

It's basically a managed forex trading account where you're in complete control over which signal providers you use, and all trading is completely automated.

I'm not sure how common the Smoothed Repulse indicator actually is but it's one that I've recently discovered hidden away in ProRealTime, the excellent charting software, and I have to say I'm quite impressed by it so far. - 23217

REO Goldminer -- Is It for You?

By Steve Harwood

I have stumbled across a new product, REO Goldminer, that is a game changer for all the entrepreneurial real estate investors out there. If you have spent any time trying to find REOs you realize how challenging it can be to find quality deals or quality information. The brick wall that most investors are faced with when searching for REOs often causes them to resort to alternative marketing efforts. Have you ever had to post Bandit Signs, send out thousands of postcards or direct mail pieces or run classified ads in your local, barely read newspaper? And even worse, numerous real estate investors try calling those that are on the edge of losing their home, looking to come up with a win-win solution for everybody. It isn't usually received that way though unfortunately.

Assuming you could create a perfect real estate investing solution, you would most likely imagine a solution that brings the best deals to your computer with virtually no effort, and little cost. Better yet we would have none of that inefficient marketing that up until now has been your only option. An investing utopia similar to this would allow you to recover your time, save your money, and prevent stress. It seems that this system is now ready and available with REO Goldminer.

The beta version of REO Goldminer has been available until now and really hasn't been officially launched and brought to the world. Apparently that is about to change mid-May. As I understand it, if they reach a certain number of clients they will be closing the doors until existing clients leave, which seems unlikely. A one out, one in sort of situation. The question though is what exactly do the developers of the REO Goldminer system say it will do.

Here are a couple of the major points that REO Goldminer says it provides. It allows you to search for REOs in each and every state. You can even get down to the city level. The software lets users choose what discounts they are interested in. Price can be searched by maximum and minimum. The results of REO Goldminer provide investors with list price, agent contact details, address, city, zip code, and more. REO Goldminer can give an overall value estimation to investors also. The software positions investors to make 2-25 offers/day, when you are ready. The creators have been building systems related to this service for awhile and this appears to be their crowning achievement.

Right now we are working on getting a word with the people behind REO Goldminer that we will be able to bring to you via our review blog located at REOGoldminerReview.com. Visit our website now and see what additional review info we can provide.

Really though, if this program provides what it says it does, then strong consideration must be given to this solution versus your existing business model. One deal means thousands and luckily most investors don't even know about this yet! - 23217

Think Forward and Invest, Trade

By Rick Amorey

If you listen to my story closely, then you may find something familiar with it. Let me begin: Sometime during my High School years, I realized that my parents would not be able to afford a good university for me. I knew I had to push forward on my own, so what did I do? I did the American thing to do, of course; I persevered for a student loan so that I can secure my future. I got accepted, and save for a few moments of poor judgment, my college life went quite well.

Afterwards, I began to work so that I can pay off my student loan. Beyond that, my paycheck has been reduced by the costs of living alone; rent, food, stuff like that. I still earned enough to start saving up, little by little. My future was set for the moment, at least.

Let's move on to my present story. I now have a loving fianc?, and we're thinking of applying for a housing loan so that we can raise a family right. My student loan has since been paid off, after all. My current rent no longer affects me as much, either, due to my higher pay. Life has been good, but I can?t help but worry that it will not last.

Life becomes progressively harder because of the continuing recession, but we are at least now, we are aware that there is a problem. With our combined efforts, I believe that we can get out of this difficult situation in the next ten years at most. The present may be problematic, but I continue to see myself looking towards the same thing that I always have; the future.

It thus isn't any surprise at all that I am looking at investing my savings into something worthwhile. But which investment exactly is that? And should I be worried at the financial state that the country is in now, and wait for it to settle down before I invest? There are many options; from bonds to stocks to individual businesses, and each of them have perks and risks. - 23217

Lawmakers and Houston Foreclosures

By Moises DaSilva

Capitol Hill Lawmakers has recently passed a bill to assist families with avoiding Houston foreclosures. The bill will allow homeowners to refinance their current loans and re-mortgage the loans to other loans that are backed by the government. Some of the homeowners in Houston are currently taking the steps to prevent their property from becoming another of Houstons long list of foreclosed property.

It is a sensible step for homeowners, since the economy is uncertain. With the economy, the way it is and the interest rates, fallen people are looking every day for Houston foreclosures. Some people however are renting some of their living space to others to save their home. Despite of the efforts the economy is suffering and the debt market rates are increasing, which is making it difficult for homeowners to repay their mortgage.

Our economy is suffering dramatically because of the greed that is surfacing. Bills are increasing, which is making it difficult for people to stay erect. Thus, people in Houston have to rent some of their living space just to make ends meet.

Nationally, people are renting some of their living quarters as well just to make ends meet and to avoid going on the foreclosure list. Some homeowners however do not have the option to rent space. Some of the newer areas will not allow homeowners to rent to others, since the deed they had signed prohibited this option. What do these people do to avoid foreclosure?

Many of them lose their homes because their options are limited, which is why we see a long list of foreclosed property in Houston. Houston is located at the southeastern parts of Texas and it is the seat of Harris County. It is located at the head of the Houston Ship Channel, which links the city to the Gulf of Mexico. The inland seaports are where the chief financial, manufacturing centers and distribution is seated for the United States. Texas was one of the largest cities in Texas and the fourth largest in the United States. People believe that everything is big in Texas so they migrate there to enjoy the new style of living. With cowboys and girls, they join. If you are looking Houston foreclosures now is the time to get started. Buying homes for 20 to 40 percent at discounted prices is no big thing in Houston Texas. - 23217

Leverage Your Investments For Greater Rewards

By Gnifrus Urquart

Have you heard the term "leverage" when people are discussing their investments? This can be quite a confusing and daunting concept for many people. But all leverage really means, is borrowing to invest. The reason people call it "leverage" is because typically existing assets are used as the security or basis of the borrowing. That is, you leverage off the value of a current investment or asset, to borrow more money to invest.

If you have not borrowed to invest before, but are considering it, you really should discuss this with a licensed financial advisor before you do. The concepts provided in this article are general in nature and should not be taken as specific advice to be applied to your specific circumstances. A financial advisor will be able to tailor a borrowing structure which perfectly matches your goals.

When I started investing, my borrowing habits where the same as most peoples. I had a floating credit card debt which varied to my whims. I had a small personal loan for some household items and a bigger one which enabled me to buy my car.

All these debts were used to fund consumables - objects for my pleasure. I learned that there are two issues with this. Firstly, the objects this debt bought all rapidly lost value. They were depreciating assets. Secondly, as I used the debt to purchase things I consumed, the interest on that debt had no tax benefits. I had to pay it all.

Today, due to the many benefits I found you get when you borrowing to invest, my debt profile is anything but typical. I now have much more debt, but I have borrowed to buy appreciating and income generating assets. For example, I have a massive debt on a property in Victoria, Australia. I also have a reasonable size margin loan helping me make money in a successful stock trading strategy. And finally, as per all foreign exchange trading accounts, I have an account which is leveraged out (and heavily too, at 400:1 - so every $1 I put in allows me to invest $400). My debt on consumables on the other hand is negligible.

So what are the benefits of borrowing to invest?

Borrowing to invest increases your ability to earn investment returns. Its simple maths really. You have more money to invest because you borrowed some, so when you invest the money wisely, you'll earn more returns. There is one additional variable to this equation though to keep in mind, the interest on the loan. Your investment strategy must be strong enough that the additional earnings are higher than the interest on the borrowings. Otherwise your net position is actually going backwards. Ie. Overall, you are losing money.

The second benefit you can get from borrowing to invest is a possible tax benefit. In my situation where I have borrowed to purchase an investment property in Victoria, as I rent out that property and earn an income from it, the interest payments on that mortgage become a cost associated with that income. As such, in my circumstance, I can claim those interest payments as a tax deduction. This means that while my asset is making me money, the tax office is actually giving me a discount on my borrowing by making it tax deductible

Margin loans work similarly. Basically I buy a bunch of stocks, fund 50% of the purchases myself and borrow the other 50% in a margin loan. This means I can double the size of my share portfolio and hopefully make a lot more money. Because I borrowed money though to buy the stocks which will make me money, the interest accrued in the margin loan is tax deductible.

So there are definite advantages you can gain from leveraging your investments. There are risks also though, which is why you should seek proper financial advice prior to moving down this path.

So what are the risks associated with borrowing for investment purposes? One of the obvious risks relates to your financial capacity. There is the risk you over-extend yourself and cannot meet the repayment obligations on your loans. When taking out a loan, you need to be sure you can pay the loan repayments.

In a margin loan situation, it is a little different. If you borrow too much here, you may breach the allowable % of assets to debt you are given and if this happens, you will be expected to put more money in to put the loan back in "good order". This can be quite difficult if the market swings strongly against you. So you need to know that in extremely adverse market conditions (2007 - 2009 are a good example of this) you can generate enough income to cover such margin calls.

Obviously also there is the risk that your investments will lose, leaving you with an investment loss and a loan. So you need to be confident with your strategies.

One of the reasons its important to speak to a licensed financial adviser is that these risk can be managed properly with the correct strategy. This will make managing your risk much easier and making money on you borrowing much easier. With the right strategy, leveraging your investments can be extremely beneficial. - 23217
